What we do

Mycelity is one network where researchers, sponsors and partners share opportunities and grow together. Organisations host workshops and conferences end to end, from expression of interest, application and blind-review shortlisting to sponsorship, scheduling, notifications, certificates and manuscript/authorship tracking after the event.

The same accounts also reach a set of marketplaces built around real, recurring needs: sharing lab equipment and reagents, moving surplus equipment on rather than discarding it, pooling bulk-procurement demand, paid manuscript peer review, and a job board.

It isn't tied to any single organisation: any organisation can run its own programmes here, with its own topic, branding, forms and questions.

Why Mycelity

Mycelium is the hidden network beneath a forest. It connects different trees and passes nutrients and signals between them, so the whole forest grows stronger. Mycelity does the same for research: one space where researchers, sponsors and partners share opportunities and information, and grow together.

Where this came from

Mycelity started from a first-hand pain point: running scientific workshops across several regions meant juggling forms, spreadsheets and email threads at every step, from applications through to post-event reporting. Bringing that into one place came first, and the network grew from there.
